DEMONSTRATION TEAM
Each Hwang’s Martial Arts location has its own “World Famous Demonstration Team!” Demo team is your chance to learn movie star techniques --weapons, self-defenses, high flying kicks, and more! Demo team represents the school’s elite, students who are prepared to work hard, practice, and work with their teammates. Demo Team can be challenging, but for the student that welcomes hard work, wants to improve their skills, and has always wanted to learn to be a movie star – you’ve found your place.
How can I join the demonstration team?
The demonstration teams are typically by invitation, but please express your interest to your school’s demo captain and they will begin to watch how you perform during class time!
Are there requirements to join the team?
Demo team is a weekly commitment. You must attend practice every Friday night, and be prepared to come to extra practices as needed. Students must reach Orange Belt level before they can join the team. As this team represents Hwang’s Martial Arts in the eyes of the public, it must be made up of students who embody our philosophy: respect, discipline, and a never give up, “yes I can!” attitude! There is no restriction on age!
