"Hwang Martial Arts is amazing! My son absolutely loves it. He’s not really interested in many other sports, but he definitely took to martial arts right away. All of the instructors are amazing, and Mrs. O is such a great communicator. She takes the time to explain everything and makes sure you really understand the sport. I’m so happy we found something my son truly enjoys! Highly recommend Hwang Martial Arts! "

"I love Hwang’s. They teach my children the kind of respect, discipline, and self-control that can only come from Master Hwang and Master Mimi, with a very healthy dose of fun mixed in. You can feel it the second you walk through the door. The kids are having an absolute blast, but there’s still structure and respect. They’re basically vibrating with positivity. It’s controlled chaos in the best possible way. A word to the wise for parents coming in for a trial lesson: wear comfortable clothes. You’re participating. You may believe you’re not participating. You may politely decline. You may have arrived wearing something completely inappropriate for martial arts because, foolishly, you thought this appointment was about your child. None of this matters. Resistance is futile. You WILL eventually find yourself out there kicking and punching alongside your five-year-old while Master Hwang smiles because he knew exactly how this was going to end. And the annoying part? It’s actually really fun. There is a non-zero chance you’ll end up signing yourself up too. Now, one small warning: do not waste your time trying to find the tuition online. Master Hwang is not merely a master of martial arts. Master Hwang is a master businessman. The price shall be revealed to you when Master Hwang decides you are ready to receive it, which, coincidentally, is at the end of the trial lesson, after your child has fallen in love with the place and you’ve somehow participated in half the class yourself. Then comes the sales pitch. It is enthusiastic. It is persuasive. It is effective. You may eventually emerge into the parking lot holding a uniform, a membership agreement, and absolutely no recollection of having made a conscious financial decision. You’ll look at your spouse and say, “What the hell just happened?” But here’s the thing: It’s worth every penny. My kids love going. They’re learning discipline, confidence, respect, and self-control from people who genuinely know how to connect with children. So five stars for Master Hwang and Master Mimi. Just understand that Master Hwang may teach martial arts, but the man apparently holds a black belt in closing a sale, too."

"We have had a fantastic experience at Hwang’s. From the very first class, our son has learned lessons about respect, discipline, and confidence. It has helped him physically and mentally. He is always so happy to earn a new belt and the day he competed in the championship may be the happiest I’ve ever seen him. I am consistently blown away by the kindness and patience of the instructors. And this includes those instructors that are very young themselves. They are fantastic role models for our son. It definitely starts at the top because Grandmaster Hwang is a fantastic person who has always made our son feel special, welcome, and confident. This is an amazing community and I highly recommend it to all. It’s a special place. I’m so glad we found it."

"My daughter recently started attending their after school program and it has been so awesome. The instructors are friendly, caring, organized, and on top of everything! My daughter is learning self defense and self discipline and confidence. I have seen drastic change in her attitude and sleep schedule lol. They immediately notify me with any updates changes or issues. They worked with me on the registration fee and for a single mom trying her best to make it in this expensive world, that meant the world to me. I HIGHLY recommend this business."
